ROOM AMENITIES AND INFORMATION

Air Conditioning - A thermostat is available in your room for adjusting to your personal preference.

Airport Transportation - The front desk can make arrangements for taxi cab service for you.

Check-Out Time - Check out time is 12 noon. You must check out with the front desk.

Card Keys - Card keys are individually programmed for each guest. For your safety, they will need to be reprogrammed after twelve days. Should you be staying longer than twelve days, the front desk can reprogram your key.

Convenience Store - Our convenience store is open twenty-four hours. A wide assortment of sundries, beverages and food (including microwaveables) is available. Movie rentals are available 24 hours daily.

Credit Cards and Checks - We accept most major credit cards, government checks, traveler’s checks and personal checks for settlement of accounts. Checks will be cashed for registered guests. Contact the front desk for current check cashing limits.

Cribs and Rollaway Beds - Cribs and rollaway beds are available at no charge, subject to availability. Contact Housekeeping for further information.

Damages - If any damage is done to your room or area, you may be charged for extra cleaning or replacement.

Deli - The Inn’s deli serves breakfast and lunch. Hours are from 5 AM to 2 PM M-F and 6 AM to 12 PM SAT, closed on SUN. Take out service is available.

Deli Cards - You may be provided with a card to charge meals and other items to your room account. You are responsible for all charges made with the card. Safeguard it appropriately.

Facsimile Services - Our fax number is (808) 624-5606. You may send local faxes at no charge and receive faxes at any time. Contact the front desk for assistance.

Front Desk - Our front desk is open twenty-four hours to serve you.

Hotel Reservations - For future reservations at the Inn contact the front desk.

Housekeeping Services - For your convenience, a welcome kit of shampoo, conditioner, lotion, sewing kit and a shower cap is provided at check in. Should you need more of these items, they are available for purchase in the convenience store. Housekeeping hours are from 6 AM to 5:30 PM daily.

Please note: If housekeeping service is refused, housekeepers will still enter the room every second day to remove trash and check the general condition of the room. This is necessary for the health and safety of all our guests. Your cooperation is appreciated.

Mail - Outgoing mail may be left at the front desk. Guests will be notified of any mail received for them by a blinking light on their phone. Forwarding addresses are requested at check out. Mail is held for three days, and then returned to sender if no forwarding address is left.

Maintenance - Please call housekeeping if there are problems with your room.

Messages - Guests will be notified of messages received by a blinking light on the phone.

Microwave Ovens - For your convenience, microwaveable items are available in the store. Microwave cooking is the only type of cooking permitted. Safety concerns and the fire code prohibit other types of cooking.

Newspapers - Major local newspapers are available for purchase in the store.

Parking - There are no assigned parking stalls. Please be sure to park within a marked space. Handicapped decals must be displayed on any vehicle parked in any area reserved for handicapped guests. Please hang your parking pass from the rear view mirror so we may notify you in an emergency.

Quiet hours - Schofield Barracks observes quiet hours from 2000 to 0500. Please comply.

Safekeeping of Valuables - Safety deposit boxes are available at the front desk at no charge.

Security - Although we are in the middle of an Army installation and have a relaxed lifestyle here in Hawaii, you should take precautions to safeguard your valuables. Please be sure your windows are locked and your room door is securely closed and locked when you leave the room. We also suggest you use the safety lock on the door when retiring for the evening. Please read the safety information posted on the back side of the entry door.

Shoe Mitts - We provide shoe mitts for the cleaning of your shoes and boots.

Walkway Railings - Please do not drape clothing or other items from railings. Not only is it unsightly, the items may blow away or fall.

Washers and Dryers - Two laundry rooms are located on each floor with coin-operated washers and dryers. Soap and bleach vending machines are also available.
